Lava’s product portfolio includes smartphones, tablets, feature phones and IT accessories like router & data cards. The company has a R&D center located in Bangalore, India & in China that does the design & development of products. Currently all Lava brand smartphones and tablets are Android based. Lava entered the smartphone category in the latter half of 2012 and until then it operated mainly in the feature phone segment. As per the 18th annual survey done by Voice & Data, one of the leading publications of the Cybermedia group, Lava registered 104% growth in FY 12-13 revenues over the previous fiscal and stands at 8th position.
