Samsung Galaxy M20 has introduced a new dimension in Samsung&rsquo, s low-mid range releases. It has got an excellent response from the Bangladeshi market after its global announcement. Let us evaluate this gadget in this short review.
Samsung&rsquo, s so-called Infinity-V or the waterdrop notch display makes this device stand out in the crowd and this time there is a well-worth 6.22&rdquo, Full HD+ screen. The colors are much crisper and vivid than one may expect from a newer kind of PLS TFT screen technology. It shall ensure an admirable and comfortable viewing experience. The body is only 8.8mm slim even with a big battery. The display doesn&rsquo, t come with a protection and the body is made of plastic. So, buying an extra body cover or protection is recommended.
Samsung&rsquo, s 14 nm Exynos 7904 chipset performs similar to Qualcomm&rsquo, s Snapdragon 636. It is a solid mid-rangers friend. High-graphics tasks, multitasking, app usage should be smooth. There shouldn&rsquo, t be any overheating issue as well. The 5000 mAh battery with fast charging is among the heftiest features of this phone. One may easily go about two days with one single charge as an average modern-day user and then fully charge the phone in just about one and a half hour. It makes Galaxy M20 a favorite choice for those prioritizing the battery backup.
Samsung has a good reputation for presenting excellent quality cameras in the mid-range scene. We were delighted with both the front and dual back camera quality of Galaxy M20. We saw very natural and authentic colors, exposure, dynamic range and focus in the daylight shot samples. However, low-light shots looked fairly average like any other regular device in this price range. There is a fine quality Full HD video recording option. Video stabilization is not available in this smartphone.
There is a fast face unlock, fingerprint, OTG and dedicated microSD slot. The phone was released with Experience 9.5 UI and Android Oreo v8.1. But on 3rd June 2019, they have added an upgrade option to Android v9.0 Pie and highly optimized One UI. There is no LED notification light in the front. Galaxy M20 is powered by Android Pie v9.0 and further update to Android Q is expected.
