Realme C1 looks very similar to Oppo A3s. Not only the design, if you compare the specs they have almost the same specs. After all, Realme was a project of Oppo which became an individual brand as many of you may know. The good news is, Realme C1 (2 GB) costs, in fact, 2000 Tk. less than Oppo A3s (2 GB).
The device comes with a big 6.2&Prime, IPS LCD HD+ trendy notch design and glossy back. The display quality is adequate for the cost and there is also a 3rd generation Gorilla Glass protection. However, it has only 271 ppi which means the sharpness is going to be quite on the average side. The C models from various brands usually represent affordable phones in the market. It indeed feels light, simple and casual in the hand. It has altogether a fine look but our impression is that it wasn&rsquo, t made for users with a taste for elegance and premium material. The glossy back looks like glass but it is plastic and gets scratches quite easily. The frames are also made of light plastic which seems fragile. Phones like Samsung Galaxy M10, Lava R3 Note or even the Vivo Y81i looks and feels more premium than Realme C1 from our perspective.
We expected the performance of Realme C1 to be pretty smooth with Snapdragon 450 chipset which is a fine choice for low-mid range consumers. But the 2 GB RAM and some lacks in software optimization will prevent it to perform smoothly in the long run. It is by no means a device for free multitasking and graphics-intensive tasks. But regular apps may just work fine. The 4230 mAh big battery is a huge positive of this gadget. There is no fast charging though but overall, the battery backup is quite good for the price.
The dual 13+2 MP back camera takes quite good shots during the daylight but low-light shots are average. 5 MP front camera is ok too. You can also record Full HD video. But Samsung Galaxy M10 is a clear winner regarding the camera in this price range also with a smoother performance.
Realme C1 comes with face unlock but it won&rsquo, t recognize the face when the light is too low. There is also no fingerprint sensor which is kind of a drawback. There is also no LED notification light. It has a dedicated MicroSD card slot, OTG and dual SIM. Overall, it has a fair amount of downsides with some good positives.
